“There are no laws for the novel. There never have been, nor can there ever be” — Doris Lessing

Camp NaNoWriMo Begins In: days: hrs: min: sec — 5:05:18:13 and ticking down by the second …
Wow, time flies, doesn’t it? The April session of Camp NaNoWriMo is ticking closer with every second that passes.
Initially, I wasn’t sure whether I would be competing in Camp NaNoWriMo this year, but once more, the excitement of the event has lured me in. I am currently still rewriting my NaNoWriMo 2012 novel [YA Mystery/Thriller], but have decided that I will tack 30k (my Camp NaNo taget goal) onto what I have already. As I am struggling a bit with this second draft at the moment, I figured with encouragement from other participants, it will be easier to complete this second draft.
I’ve gone for a 30k goal — which is 1000 words a day. What with school work, assignment and tests to balance, I think this is a fair goal that I should be able to hopefully achieve. If not, I will be happy with whatever I manage to write. I’m going to blog weekly on my Camp NaNoWriMo status, so be prepared for a new blog post every Monday during April!
Good luck to everyone completing in the April session!

On a completely unrelated note: Easter is soon. Yay, chocolate!
