It’s Sunday again, so this is my weekly wrap up where I, uh, wrap up everything I’ve done this week. It’s Sunday again, so this is my weekly wrap up where I, uh, wrap up everything I’ve done this week.
In Writing News: This week, I’ve continued my editing of City of Illusions . . . but I haven’t been as productive as last week. School work and assignments and laziness and procrastination are all part of the reason. Last week, I edited/re-wrote eight chapters, this week? Only three. This week, on the blog, I posted about inspiration in an attempt to inspire myself to continue my rewrite. I’ve set up a goal of four chapters next week — so wish me luck with that. My assignments are dwindling down, so hopefully I’ll have more time to write. According to my first Friday Rambles post, writers are mad, and that almost it for everything writing-related this week. But also? My NaNoWriMo Lulu free winner’s proof arrived — which is awesome to see it in print. I’m going to let it sit for month more or two, but then I’ll start to edit.
In Unrelated News: IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK! My seventeenth birthday this year can pretty much be summed up into two things: cake, and Doctor Who. Regardless to say, it was completely awesome.
In Bookish News: I reviewed Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass, and my Top Ten Tuesday this week consisted of my top ten all time fantasy favourites. To be honest I had a massively hard time cutting down the list to only ten . . . I guess I read too much fantasy. Also — my Thursday Quotables highlighted my favourite quotes from Isaac Marion’s Warm Bodies. (Which, by the way, made a surprisingly good film adaptation compared to some I’ve seen.) Yesterday I also received an e-ARC of Don’t Look back by Jennifer L. Armentrout through Netgalley. Yay!
That’s all for this week. Come back tomorrow to see a review for Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout!
