Yet another week has passed . . . and I’ve felt that this week has passed extremely quickly. My Ancient History assignment was finished yesterday, and thanks to #writeclub I’ve managed to make some progress on my Work In Progress, which is good, because I am so so so close to getting to the end of this second draft. The second draft is always the hardest for me — because I’m so much more aware of the flaws in has than when I’m writing it. And I hate it when my writing is anything less of perfection.
I am or may not have a problem there.
I’ve also decided that I’m going to be joining in the July session of Camp NaNoWriMo — which I actually decided awhile back, to be honest, but it always seemed to goddamn far away. But in only a month from now, I’ll be writing like the wind.
Or trying to, anyway. So this month once the second draft of City of Illusions is done, there will be lots of planning and outlining.
Or some, anyway, I’ve never really liked outlining. Here’s my account here, if you’re curious. Let me know if you want to be in the same cabin as me!
