Sunday Weekly Wrap Up (18)

SWW

So you know how I said I was going to attempt to finish The Empire of Stars before Camp NaNoWriMo July?

Yeah.

Not going to happen. As of tonight, I’ve written 20,000 words — which is pretty good, don’t get me wrong, but I absolutely cannot finish this novel by the time July rolls around. That’s just crazy. (But in all honestly when I created that goal I never expected to finish it. I just wanted to write as much as I could before July.) So I’ll set the novel aside on Tuesday, so I can dive straight into my July novel. I also plan on uploading excerpts on my blog/Wattpad while I go, so stay tuned for that!

At the moment I’ve been averaging around 2,000 words a day, which I’m quite happy with, though.

So — what has happened this week? Let’s take a quick look at what’s happened this week.

First, though, it’s the winter holidays! Woo! PARTY TIME. Not really, but there will be heaps of time to read and write; a much needed break from all the school work . . . and I don’t have to think about the results on my Law Studies test I just did . . .

  1. Woohoo for July and new books! Crazily enough, Mime and I are sort of kind of writing a book together. And it’ll probably start in July and YAY for books! It’s just nice to have that “I finished a book feeling”. It doesn’t snow where I live either, but gee, it feels like snow. Im tired of winter. I want to do what frozen things do in summer thanyouverymuch.
