What a week it has been! Camp NaNoWriMo has been completed, and my HSC trials are this week. Scary, I know. So I’m probably going to have to drop down on the amount of blog posts I do because I’ve massively stressed out — at the moment I blog pretty steadily every day, but most likely now, I’ll only blog 4 – 5 days a week. Maybe less, maybe more, I’m not sure.
In other writing news (apart from finishing Ironheart), I’ve started working on the second draft of The Empire of Stars, which is really really exciting because I love this novel. (I mean, I love all my novels, but this one in particular.) This week on the blog, I also plan on writing about chapter lengths, because in this novel, the chapters are insanely long. Freakishly long. Quite possibly too long. Which is somewhat unusual for me, but I just have no idea where to split them up. There will also be another Stacking the Shelves post coming this week — I meant to attach it to the end of this post, but forgot. So you’re going to have to wait to see my pretty new library books.
What happened this week?
Monday — Book Review: Eren by Simon P. Clark [4/5 stars]
Wednesday — I talk about self appointed writing deadlines! Do you do this!? Let me know!
Thursday — Book Review: The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas [5/5 heartbreaking stars]
Saturday — Camp NaNoWriMo Excerpt #4 — my last one!
