Sunday Weekly Wrap Up (26)

Sunday weekly wrap up

Today’s Sunday . . . and we all knows what that means . . .

Oh this gif is perfect. Internet, you are wonderful.

Uh, anyway. Before we all drown in our own tears that tomorrow is the start of a new week, let’s talk about happier things, yes? I reached my Goodreads Reading Challenge. Which means that this year, so far, I’ve read over 100 books, and that number is only going to increase as the year passes.

My self-declared “writing break” is over, and I’m going to start my edits of The Empire of Stars from scratch. I think I needed that break so I could figure out what need to be where, what needed to be improved on . . . and I’m probably going to cut out a character completely from this draft. (Though not one hundred percent sure on that.) Erm. So I’ve kind of started writing. Two lines count, yes? I’ll write more today — promise!

What’s happened this week?

Monday — Book Review: Day 21 by Kass Morgan [3/5 stars]

Tuesday — Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Apparently Must Read

Wednesday — Writerly Post Wednesday: Past or Present Tense?

Thursday — Book Review: The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin [3/5 stars]

Friday — Stacking the Shelves (11)

Saturday — Reader/Writer Confessions: Being a Harsh Reviewer

That wraps up this week. How has your week been? :)

  1. Ughhhhh don’t remind me that tomorrow’s Monday, I have an assignment due. Kill me. But CONGRATS ON READING 100 BOOKS!!! We’re always so close with our NaNo counts and same with books, it appears :) Also, those first two sentences of Empire of Stars are AMAZING. I need to read it :)

  2. Yes! That gif is the best! But tomorrow’s Sunday for me, so…haha. It’s awesome that you reached your goal. My goal for the year is also 100 books, but I haven’t reached it yet. I’m getting there, though. The first line of The Empire of Stars is brilliant; it pulled me right in! Keep going!
