Sunday Weekly Up (48) & Two Weeks’ Worth of Stacking the Shelves (29)

Sunday weekly wrap up

  • I was supposed to go away with family last week — but, of course — I got the flu! In summer. Who catches a really bad flu in summer, anyway?!
  • So I took a break from blogging last week, and have only just recently gotten back into the groove of things.
  • I’m also very behind on replying to comments; hopefully I’ll catch up soon.
  • I borrowed . . . a lot of books. But I also feel the need to point out this is two weeks of book hauls!
  • New Stacking the Shelves!

  1. Awesome haul Kara! A Court of Thorns and Roses looks amazing, I can’t wait to read it myself. Hope you have a lovely week :)

  2. Oh, so that’s where you were. Well, it’s good that you’re starting to feel better now. Snow Like Ashes and The Hobbit are both fabulous books, so I hope you enjoy them. Or are they rereads? So many bloggers are getting ACOTAR, and I’m excited to hear what everyone has to say about it.

  3. Love that pile of library books! You just made me laugh! I can totally just imagine you balancing all those books as you walk out, ignoring all those strange stares.
I’m so excited for A Court of Thorns and Roses as well!!!!!!!!
    SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

  4. Oh my gosh you’re reading After? That blew up on Wattpad – I want to see how the book version differs from the Wattpad fanfic version! Wow.

  5. ACOTAR! I was lucky enough to have snared a copy too, but I love that little trinket. Super cute. I got mine with the lush mask and my hear full of glitter for the next week :D

I can’t wait to see what you think of it, it’s supposed to be incredible!
Also, I spot Nona & Me there too. I just finished reading that one and it was so moving. Hit me right in the feels. Have a lovely week of reading Kara and I hope you’re feeling a lot better now. The flu really knocks you around doesn’t it <3

  6. YES YOU HAVE BEEN GONE AND I HAVE MISSED YOU. I kept thinking, “Omg, I haven’t read Kara’s blog lately” and I came and you weren’t. *cries a little* But these are also such fabulous looking reads. X) Your library is obviously the best. Mine has been promising me Snow Like Ashes for AGES. Although goodness knows why I want more books….my tbr is big enough. -_-
