Sunday Weekly Wrap Up (54) & Stacking the Shelves (35)

Sunday weekly wrap up

  • My Worldbuilding series has now complete! FINALLY. It took me a few months, but I got there eventually, and you guys seemed to find them helpful. (Honestly? They were helpful for me, too.) Just to rehash: you can download a Worldbuilding Template for your novel at the ‘What happened on the blog this week’ section.
  • Writing-wise, I’ve been working on my high fantasy novel. Which I adore. But is also very hard work at the moment.
  • PAPER TOWNS TRAILER IS HERE. Cue fangirling.

  • Books read this week: Dark Frost by Jennifer Estep; Breaking Butterflies by M. Anjelais (holy crap guys this book was disturbing but hell, I loved it); Of Neptune by Anna Banks; Mirage by Kristi Cook; The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater; Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater.

  • I managed to stay away from libraries! Hooray for self-restraint. Okay — well, I panicked a little bit when I saw that all my books were due soon, and at the same time, so I thought it for the best. I did get a review copy though.

This is the meme where you can highlight books you’ve bought/borrowed/gifted/received for review. You can read more on the meme and how to get involved here!

  1. Can’t wait to see what you think of We All Looked Up!! IT LOOKS (har har) SPECTACULAR. Although I think I did end up skipping on joining in the review blitz because I have too many books to read. *hangs head in shame* I actually only borrowed ONE from the library though, so I’m proud of me. ;-)

  2. You always read so much! I’d love to be able to read that many books in a week. I got We All Looked Up as well and am really looking forward to reading it.

I can’t wait to see Paper Towns. I never planned on reading the book. I had no idea what it was about but the title didn’t grab me at all, so I thought I would never read it. But after watching this trailer I want to get my hands on the book ASAP.

  3. I reallllllyyyy want to get We All Looked Up! It looks beautiful, sounds beautiful, and I REALLY WANT IT. Hah. Congratulations on not getting any library books this week! :D

  4. Yay for We All Looked Up! Woah, you’re a super fast reader Kara, and so many fantastic books you read as well! I really enjoyed your World Building series and shared around the ones that I could! Have a lovely week Kara!
